Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

On October 14th, 2004 a local soldier was killed when an explosive devise went off near his convoy vehicle in Iraq.

The war becomes more real when someone from your hometown is killed. Our mom took us to attend the memorial service for the soldier and there with over 200 friends and family we paid our respect for our local fallen hero.

We decided to honor all of the fallen heroes who gallantly gave their lives to keep us safe and free.  We want to be able to comfort the families who have lost a loved one. We want to honor the soldiers so they know they did not die in vain.

Colby (12) and Courtney (10) are two home-school children with the love of the Lord in their hearts. They want to tell all of the families who have lost a loved one in Iraq that they will always remember and honor them as well as the ones who have lost their lives.
